As mature adults, they are the only turtles that are exclusively vegetarian. They eat mostly sea grasses and algae. But when they are hatchlings and young adults, they eat worms and aquatic insects as well as ocean plants. Interesting, isn't it?

This beautiful replica of the Green Sea Turtle is made from high quality porcelain and is painted by hand with a high gloss finish. The head and flippers are gray with just a hint of green and have black spots. The shell is a very dark brown with the center of the scutes (scales) a luminescent orange in a fan shaped pattern.
