A beautiful sea turtle figurine!

This fine ceramic sea turtle has a shell that is dark teal in color. Patterning the shell in gold and opalescent colors are 4 smaller turtles and stars.

Artesania Rinconada figurines have been handcrafted in Uruguay since 1967. The figurine is hand carved from a flat mold, making each piece unique. After they are carved, they are kiln fired, hand-painted, and then fired for the second time. Then they are fired a third time to obtain the 18 karat gold and platinum paint accents.

This special ceramic collector's piece from Artesania Rinconada is one of the Membership Only editions. It is a retired design which means that they will never be making any more. So once, these are sold, there will be no more...
