This is an absolutely gorgeous beaded velvet bag! The bag is lined inside with a silky material and is thickly padded to protect its contents. The black velvet is super soft and the beading work is exquisite. Most of the beads are a dark iridescent and are securely attached to the velvet, except for the turtle's tail, which hangs free. The bag has a small velcro tab to keep it closed at the top, and is perfect for cell phones, iphones, and IPODs. The beaded strap is strung on wire and is quite strong. Size: Bag size is about 5-1/2" long and 3-1/2" wide (outside), so comfortably holds something up to about 3" x 4.5". (Yes, it will fit an iphone!) The strap is about 40" in total length making the purse hang about 24" from top of strap to bottom of purse.
