Here's an interesting turtle...

Made of hand carved soapstone, this turtle has a shell that is almost entirely hollow. Holes have been carved into the shell and the inner portion carved out almost entirely. And, there is a baby turtle carved on the inside!

Soapstone is a type of rock that is smooth and slippery when polished, and though it feels slick like soap it is really a type of metamorphic rock called steatite. It can vary in color from tan to brown, so your turtle may have natural color variations.

It might be fun to use this as a scent dispenser and put essiential oils into it, or small scent beads (not included).
