This is a gorgeous jewel box!

Made of enameled metal, the body of the box is in the shape of an egg with a cream colored enamel. The hinged lid of the box is a richly decorated baby sea turtle in the process of climbing out of its shell.

The turtle is enameled in lustrous browns, greens, and yellows and studded with orange colored Austrian crystals.

This is a large trinket box, capable of holding large rings and earrings, and most pendant necklaces. The box is sealed with a magnetic clasp and is enameled in cream on the inside as well.

Size: 2.5" tall, 2.5" wide, inside dimensions are about 2" tall and 1.5" in diameter.
