Did you know that the Galapagos Tortoise is the largest living tortoise?

It is. It can grow to be 4 feet long and weigh over 300 pounds. It can also live to be 200 years old. The tortoise can be found on nine islands of the Galápagos archipelago. These tortoises like to bask in the sun for a few hours after dawn until they get warm enough to move around.

This hand-painted porcelain replica of the Galapagos Tortoise also likes to bask. If you place it in the sun, it will even warm up too. However, it won't ever warm up enough to move... or if it does, that would mean melting into a puddle and that would be bad.
